Father God, we look and see the 2016 presidential election was wonderful for us to be part of as praise and honor and glory were Yours and lifted to You alone. Many who love Jesus thanked You for allowing the Republican Party to have victory and help defend the defenseless babies in the womb.
Even though America has legalized heinous sin after heinous sin, supported by Supreme Court Justices and the Democratic Party, Your wrath has not been swift. You have displayed Your longsuffering Your loving patience and kind intentions for all souls to be saved through faith in Jesus.
Your will has contended with arrogant unrepentant people throughout history. Your steady wrath has chastened the world causing increasing disruptions, disharmony and pressure. We hope many are driven to seek Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Forever and now in 2020, even today November 6, at 9:33pm, all time and all situations are at Your command Father God. As You observe the world waiting for You to acknowledge Your perfect plans for America’s President, many of us who love Jesus trust You.
All that You do is good and righteous and our great privilege is to know that. You have brought us and Your grace has gifted us, who believe in Jesus, who have faith in Jesus, to trust in Your Sovereignty.
We, at best, can pray. We believe all that You do is best for Your glory and our good.
LORD we pray for that which will honor You. We know we are a sinful nation and deserve Your wrath, Your abandonment, Your judgements.
Father, we ask that Your parental hand disciplining us not be so drastic as to allow sinful leaders to permit even more legalizing sin increasing in taking the lives of innocent babies.
LORD in Your great abundant mercy, help our wayward country. Help us sustain an ongoing defense against horrible sins allowing the life of a baby to be snuffed out in the womb or on the operating table.
All wise God, Mighty and Merciful, give us once again a leader to thwart the rising tide of popular sin.
Only You know what is best and we bow to Your will in assurance and joy and hope in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
