God is Sovereign; He has created all and provides for all things according to His plans.
Our bounty allows us to help others in need. With whatever our abundance is from God we have the privilege to be obedient and use our resources wisely, with love, according to the statutes found in the Bible
“While eating my morning muffin with coffee a small bird landed nearby. I gave a piece. The bird ate, we were both happy.”
With God’s natural resources birds are cared for in and out of seasons regardless of the conditions.
Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
We who are of more value to God than birds are to trust in Him for all our earthly and spiritual needs.
God has spoken and laid out how to worship, trust and obey Him. We are to believe Him for His care in feeding us with spiritual life found in the Bible which is the truthful word of God.
2 Peter 1:20-21 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
The spiritual food of God is there and the hungry souls who want to take in God’s truth will eat of it.
God lovingly nourishes all who come in faith. Out of His abundance of grace and mercy the bread of spiritual life is only found in His Son Jesus Christ. The Holy One, the only Feeder of souls who believe in faith.
In Christ believers receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. By illuminating the Holy Scriptures He leads and teaches them truth.
With God’s blessing true believers are able to care for one another and love one another as they grow in grace.
The local church shepherd, is a man called by God to lead the flock.
A pastor teaching divine truth in a worship service is supplying believers nourishing food for their souls.
In turn we are to take the truth of God and spread the gospel seeds out onto the soil of souls, watering, but only God grows some in His grace.
All are called to seek God and believe in faith that God is real. He is a loving God who has provided a way for a person’s eternal soul to have spiritual life now within our human limitations.
In Christ a true Christian’s soul and spirit is able to commune with a holy God and taste in a small way the joy of heaven. Our zeal from the closeness of God brings praise for our Lord and His great sacrifice.
God’s path for spiritual life is Jesus Christ and there is no spiritual life in any other.
By trusting in Jesus a person’s sole will live forever in heaven with all believers in total joy with our Lord. Truly united with Christ we stand and there is no falling away.
Without being united in God’s plan of salvation people are left divided with their own opinion. Their fall is hell.
All people are born with sin. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Sinners, both the dead and living, without faith in Jesus, are awaiting the judgment of God. The penalty for sin is eternal life of suffering, pain and torment in hell.
But Jesus came to saves souls. Now is the time for salvation in the Lord.
1 Peter 1:24-25 because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the LORD endures forever.”
Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”
Psalm 80: Restore us, O God; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved!
Luke 19:9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house,..”
Matthew 10:22 But he who endures to the end will be saved.
The Christian walk begins by trusting in the grace of God alone to give you spiritual life to be born again.
Believing in faith alone that Jesus died for your sins. Scripture alone is the word of God to lead your obedience.
Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
1 Timothy 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
